NEXTGEN SOUL-CAP/WORTH

In collaboration with Freyzein and soulseil (coordinator), we present the NextGen soul-Cap – WORTH , made from biobased, water-repellent, plastic-free fabrics combined with recycled climbing ropes. This project introduces innovative closing mechanisms, reduces waste, promotes sustainability, and invites consumers to "wear the change" by choosing eco-conscious, regenerative fashion

The textile industry, heavily reliant on petrochemicals, is the second-largest polluter after oil, according to a 2020 study in Nature Reviews Earth & Environment. Despite technological advances, textiles have fallen behind. The project addresses this by creating the NextGen soul-Cap, made from circular materials, rejecting plastics, and incorporating recycled climbing ropes. Innovative closures and eco-friendly design disrupt conventional practices for a more sustainable future.

The goal
Our project is scalable, aiming for long-term collaboration. It is exploring new ways to move fashion beyond petrochemicals. Adopting novel design solutions and using recycled and sustainable materials, we reduce waste and promote a circular economy. After WORTH, our goal is to establish the NextGen soul-Cap in the market, advancing eco-design practices within the lifestyle industry!
